Whole Home Installation Benefits

Our injection foam insulation is a unique type of foam insulation solution applied to exterior walls and injected into wall cavities, ceilings, and other areas to create a thermal barrier. This mixture is ideal for homes because it stands unrivaled in performance. It is injected into wall cavities through a rapid application method, effectively sealing gaps and voids that other insulation materials often miss. Whether your wall cavities are completely empty or they have old pink fiberglass, this insulation fills spaces around electrical and phone wiring, plumbing, outlets, and other hard-to-reach areas, ensuring optimal efficiency. This makes injection foam one of the best retrofitting options to re-insulate your home. With an R-value of 4.6 per inch, injection foam has a 35% higher R-value than any other retrofit insulation.

Your Home

The diagrams to the left illustrate how your home operates during heating and cooling seasons. When walls are poorly insulated, unconditioned air can infiltrate your home while your conditioned air escapes. This creates a continuous cycle of energy loss, ultimately resulting in higher costs and reduced efficiency.

How do you install inject foam?

The installation of injection foam insulation involves drilling small holes in the walls or other areas where insulation is needed. The foam is then injected through these holes using specialized equipment. Once the foam is applied , the holes are patched, and the process is complete. Injection foam can even be installed with a brick exterior! Even with pre-existing fiberglass, it won’t impede its effectiveness and we can still install our foam right over it, making injection foam the most versatile product on the market.

Why Choose Foam Insulation?

This method offers several distinct characteristics and benefits. It’s not harmful to the environment and is rodent repellant, mold resistant, and biodegradable. Our foam has an R-value of 4.6 per inch and slightly gains R-value the colder the temperature. You can do a blower door test to evaluate and identify air leaks so that you can improve your building’s airtightness. Enhanced energy efficiency ensures compliance with energy codes and improves indoor comfort and air quality. It’s far superior to other retrofitting insulations but remains comparable in price to other products such as cellulose and can be installed in half the time!

What Siding Guys Don't Tell You

Have you recently had your home resided with foam board applied on the exterior? While any insulation is better than none, in our area, it's recommended that walls have an R-value between R-19 and R-24. Exterior foam boards typically offer R-values ranging from R-4 to R-10, which might still leave your walls under-insulated. In order to address this, injection foam can be used to fill the wall cavities, boosting the R-value of your walls and improving your home's comfort and efficiency.
